Canton Township: The Dump to a Park?

There is a former landfill sitting at the corner of Prairie College and Dueber Ave that we could be seeing use in some form. Garfield Heights hilariously built a whole shopping strip on top of theirs, so why not do something a bit easier on the infrastructure like a park.
The lot is the entirety of the green-space between 53rd and Prairie College that could be used by the neighboring suburbs for recreation.
"What about the off gassing?" I hear concerned mothers screaming; there will be no major enclosed buildings. This park would primarily be a few different walking trails with a simple tower structure built to allow visitors a chance to survey the different landmarks in the area. All open air projects.
You can see a few of the places that helped build Canton (and America) with views of the Steel plant and of the Marathon Oil plant.
The current trails provide a stunning look into nature that has only been minimally maintained in the last two decades. There could be three entrances with the two on Dueber and 53rd respectively and the final at the very end of Prairie College. The Faircrest Memorial Middle School property backs all the way up to Prairie College and there could be a walking path directly to the park for student access.
A pavillion at the top with the quarter charge binoculars to take a look for the McKinley dome or the Pro Football Hall of Fame. This would be a >50 acre park that could really improve property values and provide another piece to Canton Township's outstanding parks.
